At first glance, a Chicago driver might justifiably mistake a Ferrari GTC4Lusso for a Ferrari GTC4Lusso T. It’s a mistake most won’t make twice. The performance specs ensure that the GTC4Lusso will be slightly blurrier than the GTC4Lusso T as they both leave the everyday driver in the rearview.
There are worse choices a driver has to make than “do I choose the Ferrari with a V12 or a twin-turbo V8?” But when you find yourself in that position, you should know the differences between them.

We know there are die-hard fans of rear-wheel drive, but if traction and control are your top priorities, we think you’ll prefer the four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering of the GTC4Lusso.
The trade-off, of course, is improved agility in the rear-wheel drive GTC4Lusso T. It has lighter weight and is more responsive, as evidenced by its less powerful engine having nearly the same 0-60 mph time as the V12.

When you’re buying a new Ferrari, there’s not a wrong choice. That said, we think the battled of Ferrari GTC4Lusso vs. Ferrari GTC4Lusso T is a matter of opinion. If you’re a fan of old school engines, forgo the T. If you’re a fan of rear-wheel drive or are excited to put a twin-turbo V8 to the pavement, the T carries with it the same elegant interior of the GTC4Lusso.
