  • 1957 Ferrari 335 Sport Scaglietti: $35.7 million (2016)
  • 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta: $38.1 million (2014)

The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO by Scaglietti is currently the most expensive car ever sold at auction, though there are Ferraris sold in private sales that exceed its price tag.
